BONNET PARK is where everyone starts. It’s the small old ground: First Steps is played here, it’s your first home ground, and it’s the ground you see in the trailer. Four stands, open corners and a lattice floodlight pylon in each corner.

What’s at Bonnet Park

  • The main stand: two tiers under a slate gable roof, with a cream pediment and a clock over the halfway line, bottle-green columns and lamps along the eaves.
  • Opposite: a single-tier stand under a sloping corrugated roof, with brick walls, bench seats and the two dugouts.
  • The ends: open terraces with crush barriers, and a scoreboard on legs behind each one.
  • Around the ground: turnstile blocks, a corrugated fence, bunting by day, hand-painted hoardings for GRUBBLE PIES, WOLLOPS TEA and TREADLE TYRES, and a skyline in the distance.

On the higher graphics settings every place is filled with cut-out supporters. In drizzle the surfaces turn wet, and in snow the open terrace steps go white while the covered stands stay dry.
